History

• 2005 HPS was founded by Markus Herren as a service provider for bonfire tests
• 2006 Bringing into service the testing ground in Eiterfeld-Ufhausen
• 2007 Hans-Peter Zirfas joins the company as managing partner
• 2008 New office, storage, and workshop in Neuhof
• 2009 Admission of the first Explosive Law seminar
• 2013 First certification of the QM system for UN-testing through the BAM
• 2014 Moving to Neuhof-Rommerz, consolidation of the office, workshop and testing ground
• 2015 Establishment of our U.S Agent at the American Department of Transportation
• 2016 Change of the legal form to HPS Examination GmbH & Co. KG
• 2018 First admission in the European Union as test laboratory for automotive components according to EU Guideline 2013/29/EC
• 2019 Acquisition of the new company premises in Kalbach-Bucheller

 

The conversion of the former production site for concrete goods into a test and training centre is supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
